I was a systems development engineer and manager for over 30 years, coaching and mentoring software engineers and product managers before becoming a teacher.
I studied for and earned my teaching license as a student of the Public Education and Business Coalition. I taught at the Stanley British Primary School, where I am a substitute teacher now, and at Dalton Elementary in Aurora Public Schools. I've found my passion in working one-on-one with students and helping them succeed, which I have done independently and at both Mathnasium and Huntington Learning Center. I would like to work with your student and help them reach their academic goals together!
I am licensed to teach in the State of Colorado, have passed background checks with flying colors, and am Red Cross Certified for First Aid and CPR.
Amy is my lovely wife and partner of 23 years. She is a business development strategist at a large engineering company, a bookworm, a baker, and much more!
Allison is my older daughter, who has special needs and a special heart. She lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming and hopes one day to start an e-commerce business.
Zoë is our smiling college girl. She is studying biomedical engineering at CalPoly, and finds time to sing in three choirs there. She is also a fabulous cook.
